The halls were warm today. Yesterday they were cold, and now they are warm and comfortable. Morpheus leaned against the rails and looked out at Zion. "Glad to be back." He said to himself.

Neo strolled down the pathway, footsteps clanging against the metal flooring. He looked straight ahead, seeing Morpheus leaning over the rails, scrutinising the surrounding Zion. The One's approach became more tentative. Awkwardness and uncertainty stunting his movements. Did the captain want to be alone? Wanted to relax?
“Morpheus…”

"Neo. How are you?" he asked as he turned around and then back out to Zion.

“Okay,” he answered, tentativity slowing his words. “I guess…”
He inched towards Morpheus, footsteps now taking on a hushed shuffle. He following the captain’s gaze towards Zion, where the high, metallic landscape extended beyond.
“Confused mostly. And worried. You heard word from the Oracle?”

"Confuse of what Neo?"
Morpheus stood up and looked at Neo. Since he met Neo, he felt like he was a father figure to him. He gave Neo a concerned look and then said to him, "No I haven't."

Neo reached Morpheus’s side. His palms grabbed the metal bars. The surface almost clammy. He hunched over the bars, peering out at Zion. Tongue in cheek. Jaw clenched.
“I tried to save a Red Pill,” he answered, hesitating now and again. “The kid tried to commit suicide. Leapt off a skyscraper. Survived. An anamoly. The Agents tried to repair it. I tried to stop them. They got there first.”
He leant further against the rail, giving Morpheus sidelong glances. Expecting to see shock, or even shame.
“First Red Pill I failed,” he admitted. “Can’t keep everyone alive. What kind of One am I? Next time… What if it's Trinity? Or you?”
